It is a common believe that Discus fishes are fuzzy and difficult to breed but opposite to this, Discus fishes are quite easy to keep and they can breed easily but, for that you have to know the imperative level of water quality for the aquarium other wise Discus fishes do not breed together. Discus fish feeds and guards their fry, and for that Discus fish should be provided with the quality water all the time, other wise the fry will end up if they are not feed well.

Once you have bought different discus fishes and put them in any particular aquarium then Discus fishes make their own pair easily. Later on the pair will occupy a territory in the aquarium and will fight if other Discus fishes try to occupy their place. Now this is the right time to remove all others fishes or buy another breeding aquarium for that pair. 20 to 30 gallon sized aquarium would be enough for the pair and it will be a good idea if you set any hiding place in the aquarium.

It is already mentioned above that the changing water is extremely important for the breeding of Discus fish but also you have to keep eye on the nitrogenous waste, level of ammonia, nitrate and nitrite. The most suitable water temperature for breeding Discus fish is 86 degree Fahrenheit.

Healthy Feeding to the breeding Discuss fish is very important. You should feed them nutritious diet but make sure that the pair is actually eats it. Bloodworms and white worms are highly recommended food for the breeding Discuss fishes. But be care full the live food should be fresh enough for the Discus fishes to receive all vitamins otherwise it will cause some diseases in Discuss fishes.

Moreover Do my homework for me free – provides high quality custom research papers on Breeding Discus Fish, biology, chemistry, geography at reliable price.

If one wants to keep discus for displaying or breeding purposes, then the essential most thing for him is the fish tanks. There are kinds of fish tanks basically divided into displaying and breeding tanks. Breeding tanks are kept simple and none of the complex filters and accessories is considered necessary for them. A simple bare bottom tank (for easy cleaning) with sponge filters is enough for breeding purpose. While for display needs, one can have a tank with external canister filter as it will keep the water quite clean and it will have one of the largest surface areas for biological filtration which will assure the excellence of water quality.

When one wants to buy a fish tank, the first thing that has to be taken into consideration is fish tank’s size. If a display tank is to be bought then a tank of measurement no less than

120cm X 40cm X 50cm should be used. But with breeding tanks, even a fish tank of measurement 48cm X 30cm X 30cm can be brought into use.

Fish tanks should not be kept low on ground. They should be kept on a certain height instead. This precaution is taken because discuses dislike shadows moving above. Discus tank should be kept away from noisy places, and places with a lot of movement going on (for e.g. doorways and halls). Discus is shy by nature, maximum care should be done that they don’t get in stress by some stupid movement or vibration.

Moreover when discuses are newly transferred to their tanks, aquarium lights should be kept subdued as they may get harassed by the use of extremely bright lights. With the passage of time they get familiarized with normal aquarium lights.

Water purity in the aquarium should be the main emphasis of discus keeper. At least twenty-five percent of water should be changed every week. PH level of water should be kept somewhere about 6.5-7.5. To lower the PH, peat can be used. Peat is the best natural alternative of industrial PH reducers. Temperature should be kept constant too, because when temperature is changed frequently, discuses get impacted negatively. The temperature required for discus is 84-86° F. This is the best optimal temperature for discus, and constant check should be kept that the temperature remains in the optimal range.

I am very fond of collecting different Fishes for my aquarium. I love to see fishes of different colors and designs swiming in my aquarium. However it is very important to take very good care of these fishes so they remain healthy and give you same aesthetic quality of view as on first day. Here are some tips for Fish Care as I learned from time to time.

Tip 1: Fishes are always happy in Water. So you need to keep the fishes in water. Find out more and more about the fishes you are holding so that you can provide them ideal water for their health.

Tip 2: Monitor temparature of your water.

Tip 3: Clean your aquarium once a weak at least.

Tip 4: Make sure your aquarium should be away from sun light.

Tip 5: Monitor pH range. The pH for discus fish should be between 5.5 and 7 but the ideal level of pH for optimum discus fish care is 6.
